What does Flip Verified mean?
When you receive quotes through Flip, you should know that the contractor has been checked before they are allowed in. Flip Verified means we review company status, finances, references, insurance, HSE, and professional competence before they can take projects through the platform.
Quality mark for contractors approved in the Flip system.

do not pass
We say no more often than yes
The important trust signal is not that we have a quality mark. It is that the mark is not given to everyone. Most applicants do not pass the first assessment, and companies that do not meet the standard do not get access to projects through Flip.
Quality over time
Safety before, during, and after the job
Flip Verified is not only about approving a contractor once. We combine requirements before access, closer follow-up during the first project, and ongoing signals afterwards.
The company must pass the checks
We assess public company registration, VAT/tax status, financial signals, insurance, HSE cards, references, and relevant professional competence.
The first job is followed more closely
New contractors are followed through a test project with checkpoints before startup, after startup, and at completion.
Quality has to stay consistent
Customer feedback, deviations, finances, insurance, and company status are used in the ongoing assessment of who gets new projects.
Process
How a contractor becomes Flip Verified
The process is practical and documentable. It combines objective checks with references and a test project before the contractor is fully onboarded.
Application or recruitment
The contractor contacts Flip, or Flip recruits companies that fit our project types and regions.
Company and finances
We assess company history, VAT/tax status, and financial health. Companies younger than three years are reviewed manually.
References and competence
We call two references and assess trade certificates, certifications, or documented practical experience.
Test project
Approved contractors are followed through a test project with checkpoints before startup, after startup, and at completion.
What we check
Eight checkpoints before access
Flip Verified is built to make the assessment open and understandable. Not every point is absolute on its own, but the whole picture decides whether the contractor gets access.
Company history
We look at operating history, registrations, and stability. Companies with short history must go through manual review.
Reference checks
We call two references to understand delivery quality, communication, and how the contractor handles deviations.
Healthy finances
We verify company finances through Tripletex. Active collection cases, liens, or ongoing bankruptcy lead to rejection.
Insurance and HSE
We check valid liability insurance and HSE cards before the contractor can take projects.
Professional competence
Trade certificates and certifications count positively, but documented practical experience can also qualify.
VAT and tax
We verify that the company has orderly VAT, tax, and public registration status.
Trade and geography
The contractor is qualified for the trades and regions where they can actually deliver.
Key people
We assess key people, role understanding, and seriousness where relevant to the projects.
Third-party verification
Healthy finances are checked through Tripletex
We verify the company's finances through Tripletex, a Norwegian accounting system. Companies with active collection cases, liens, or ongoing bankruptcy are rejected. We explain the principle publicly, but do not share internal score thresholds.
Manual review when the picture is unclear
Some companies have short history or figures that need context. Flip then reviews the case manually before potentially letting them in.
After approval
Verification does not stop at first approval
A contractor can lose access to projects if quality drops. That is why we continue following up after they are accepted.
Annual re-check
Finances, insurance, and basic company status are checked again at regular intervals.
Broker pool and partner feedback
Projects from brokers and partners provide extra feedback on precision, progress, and customer dialogue.
Customer feedback
We collect reviews after projects and use deviations, dialogue, and satisfaction in ongoing quality assessment.
Speak up
Does something feel off?
Safety is also about what happens if something seems unserious, unclear, or not as agreed. It should be easy to report it, and the feedback should be used.
Report deviations in the project
If communication, progress, or delivery does not seem as agreed, you can document it in the project.
Flip follows up
We review the documentation and help with the follow-up Flip can contribute to with the contractor.
Feedback affects quality
Repeated deviations and poor customer experiences are included when assessing whether a contractor should continue receiving projects through Flip.
For customers
Flip Verified explains how we assess contractors. The Quality Promise explains the full customer experience: fixed price, follow-up, insurance, warranty rights, and guarantees.
